The story of the Red Bus Bistro Company Limited begins with is founder, Alison. During her days flying around the globe as cabin crew for Brittish Airways, she stumbled upon Deckers Restaurant in the Cayman Islands -a double-decker bus with a built in eatery.
After having her son Alison paused her flying career and created Red Bus Bistro starting in Edinburgh and quickly expanding to Glasgow the concept was an instant hit. Passengers tour Glasgow or Edinburgh on board the iconic red vintage routemaster bus enjoying an afternoon tea or our signature gin tea.
While the touring buses remain a staple of Glasgow and Edinburgh city centres, the team has just rolled out an incredible venture a static bus at the famous Glasgow Barras market every Saturday and Sunday with serious mouth-watering street food.
However Alison is not finished yet with many new exciting ideas in the pipeline watch this space.
